What is your child-to-coach ratio?

Kids Golf and Tennis Inc. offers a range of programs for children of all ages, abilities and needs. Our child-to-coach ratio differs accordingly. Generally, speaking there are no more than 6 kiddos per class with 1 coach.

Do you require a minimum number of children to hold a class or camp?

We believe in creating a safe, fun and engaging environment. Therefore, we usually require a minimum of 3 children for a class or camp to continue. Kids Golf and Tennis Inc. reserves the right to cancel a class as a result of insufficient registrations. 

We understand some parents prefer lower-enrolled classes where each child can get more individual attention. You can take advantage of this by signing up for our private or semi-private lessons.

What is your drop off/pick-up policy?

Drop-offs: Every child must be dropped off by an adult. For children 5 and under, we require their accompanying adult to stay on the premises from arrival until the class is over. 

We do not allow early drop-offs for children of any age, as every child must be supervised by an adult at all times. 

Pick-ups: All children must be retrieved exactly when classes/camp ends unless specific arrangements are made in advance. It is the parent's or caregiver's responsibility to be there when class ends.

**For the safety of all kiddos and their adults, your child must be picked up no later than 5 minutes after the scheduled end of class/campIf the 5-minute grace period is exceeded twice, we may exercise our right to remove the child from class without a credit.**

What should my child bring to class/camp?

No racquet, club or ball? No problem! We provide all equipment for your child's age and size. We only ask that your child wear athletic gear and proper sneakers and bring water/juice to each session.

What is your refund policy?

We do not offer refunds. If, for some reason, your child does not want to continue the class you registered for, you can receive a credit for the remaining classes. Credits must be used on other classes by the end of the next two sessions. Credits/registrations are not transferable.

If a child must drop out of Kids Golf and Tennis, Inc. classes due to a medical concern or issue, we require a note from their physician. We will then issue a credit to be used in the next two sessions.

If you do not cancel a private lesson 24 hours in advance, you will be charged.

Are classes prorated?

What is your make-up policy?

We guarantee on make-up class per session lasting at least 5 weeks. All make-up classes must be completed before the last two weeks of the session. Make-ups cannot be carried over to any other sessions. You can find our make-up policy and the form to request a make-up class here.

No make-ups are offered in sessions that are less than five weeks long.

What is your photo and video policy?

We do not allow photos or videos to be taken during class without approval of the coach—for the privacy of all students, caregivers, coaches, and our environment. 

What other class restrictions does Kids Golf and Tennis Inc. have?

Because children learn at different rates according to changes in their physical growth, social awareness, and cognitive understandings, Kids Golf and Tennis Inc. reserves the right to occasionally move individual children to a different group than they were initially registered for—to increase the child's success and learning. 

In addition, Kids Golf and Tennis Inc. reserves the right to remove a child from a class/program, at our sole discretion, if the child's presence and behavior creates safety issues/an unsafe environment. 

*If your child is removed from a class by Kids Golf and Tennis Inc. you will receive a refund for the remaining classes.

What is your class cancellation policy?

Classes/lessons may be cancelled from time to time due to circumstances outside of Kids Golf and Tennis Inc.'s control. But, even in cases of inclement weather, lessons can be considered "on" if you do not receive a notification of cancellation. Our current programming allows for classes to be conducted in the rain. In the case of thunder or lightning, intense rain or snow, or hail, classes may be cancelled. It is at Kids Golf and Tennis Inc.'s discretion to hold a class or not, and decisions may be based on forecasts rather than current conditions.

If a class is cancelled, Kids Golf and Tennis Inc. will use every reasonable effort to provide notice of such cancellations using the email address or phone number provided upon registration. Notice may be given up to an hour before a class/lesson time, so please check your email/phone before coming to class. However, if classes/lessons are cancelled due to inclement weather, a make-up class will be scheduled. You will always get the number of classes you pay for!

How do you schedule make-up classes in the event of cancellation?

We will make the utmost effort to give adequate notice of all make-up-class details, so that a maximum number of students can attend. After notice of the date & time of the make-up class is provided by Kids Golf and Tennis Inc. you must alert us within 24 hours if you cannot attend the make-up class; otherwise, it will be considered a "used" make-up opportunity.  

What is your private lesson policy?

KTC facility—NYC area

Private lessons must be completed by the end of the current sessions; there are no carry-overs. Lessons held outside may be canceled from time to time due to circumstances outside of Kids Golf and Tennis Inc.'s control, such as inclement weather. Kids Golf and Tennis Inc. also reserves the right to cancel class based on the forecast of inclement weather. We will use every reasonable effort to provide notice of such cancellations using the email address or phone number provided upon registration. Notice may be given up to an hour before a class/lesson start time, so please check your email/phone before coming to class. If classes/lessons are canceled due to inclement weather, a make-up class will be scheduled. You will always get the number of classes you pay for!

We also reserve the right to bring outdoor private lessons to our indoor facility.  

Though we offer credit for canceled/unused classes, or if you change your mind about the sessions, we do NOT offer refunds. 

Private Lessons—House Calls

 Private lessons must be completed by the end of the current sessions; there are no carry-overs. Lessons held outside may be canceled from time to time due to circumstances outside of Kids Golf and Tennis Inc.'s control, such as inclement weather. Kids Golf and Tennis Inc. also reserves the right to cancel class based on the forecast of inclement weather. We will use every reasonable effort to provide notice of such cancellations using the email address or phone number provided upon registration. Notice may be given up to an hour before a class/lesson start time, so please check your email/phone before coming to class. If classes/lessons are canceled due to inclement weather, a make-up class will be scheduled. You will always get the number of classes you pay for!

All private-lesson house call packages must be completed by 90 days after the last scheduled class.
